Since the launch of our customer portal and online deferment option which went live February 2016, Erudio Student Loans has continued to build on this to improve our customers experience.
As we approach the deferment peak we continue to ensure that our customers are issued with their new deferment form 8 weeks prior to their existing deferment expiring. If you have concerns over receiving your deferment form please contact on the details below.
The portal provides customers with 24-hours a day access to their accounts. It allows greater flexibility in the management of their student loans and can be accessed via a desktop computer, laptop, tablet and smart phone.
Updated deferment application form
We have updated our Deferment Application Form (DAF) to be simpler and more user friendly to complete. A guide on filling in the form is available online or can be requested in paper form by contacting Erudio on 0333 003 7188.
The online deferment process
Our enhanced online deferment application process now allows our customers to apply for deferment 12 weeks prior to their existing deferment expiring by using our online facilities. To compliment this change, where we have an email address or mobile number available, we are now notifying our customers via SMS and e-mail when they are able to begin their deferment application online.
The online version requests exactly the same information as the paper form and has handy hints throughout to help guide customers and explain any terminology. As part of the online application process, customers can save their progress and return to complete it at a later time.
One of the benefits of completing the form online is a customer can upload any supporting evidence, which can then be submitted instantly removing any cost and delays caused by sending it through the post.

Customers will still be able to complete a paper Deferment Application Form (DAF) if that is their preference and Erudio will continue to issue this to customers eight weeks before their deferment period is due to end to ensure they have sufficient time to apply for deferment.
The website uses an EV SSL (Extended Validation Secure Sockets Layer) certificate which offers the highest available levels of trust and authentication. All card payments are processed in compliance with PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standard).
